ForumRunner - Adverts???

Ok so I just bought the forum runner app so I can post easily on the go.

I didn't expect to see adverts for me to click on in a paid app. Is there someway of turning the bloody things off? I hate them. Grrrr

Strange,because I am using forumrunner now,while sitting in front of my computer on the same thread and I don't have any adds,not even the banner adds at the top of the page.May have something to do with being a subscriber though!!!!
I have the problem that I cant see posted images though,which is a real pain,if anyone knows how to rectify this on an Android phone?Yet I do see peoples avatar

This is what I get on every page, damned advert at bottom of threads.

Can any other iPhone users confirm if this can be turned off?

??? Are you saying those adverts are part of the forum and not the app and furthermore you have the power to turn them off?

Yes on iPhone and I get the small ads at the bottom with the purchased app. Not really that bad. The pics very rarely work though with forum runner which is a PITA, something that was not an issue with Tapatalk.

I understand if they need to stay on the website (though I dont like that either), but the real estate on the PC screen is not so critical and the ads are nowhere near my fingers when trying to type! Removing them from ForumRunner would be most excellent and appreciated.

Becoming a subscriber will fix the Ads problem.
I was hoping someone knew how to be able to view the pics on Forum Runner.I also had no problem viewing them on Tapatalk on either my iPhone or on my Android phone.

i see pics just fine on my iphone

i don't always get the thumbnail version but can tap on the thumbnail and see the big picture, so to speak.

Yes the problem is very perplexing,as I see peoples avatar ok,but pictures in posts just appear as grey squares,clicking on these just brings up a row of grey squares and clicking on these does nothing,and can find no adjustment in the settings anywhere.I have this problem with both my iphone and my Android HTC.

It's a forumrunner issue. You can change the remote thumbnailer setting but generally it don't do squat.

If you tap somewhere in the post it will switch to single post view and any pic from an image link will show apart from ones uploaded into the forum itself.

Or you can click on the pic and in the top RH corner, select "see all" and it will show every pic on that particular page.

Tapatalk is still far far better IMHO....

I too use Telstra and iPhone 4. 90% of thumbnails don't work and when tapping on these maybe 40% work and the rest come up with the black image loading screen and "error". Other than the images Forum runner works well.

I have this problem as well. Never had it with tapa and still use that without issue for pelican (porsche) forums. Don't care what you use, just want it to work well. Love this forum by the way. BEST I FREQUENT!
