Grumbles back on the road with nice new radiator, hoses, idler bearings, tensioner bearings, new belt, power flushed system. Only cost $1600 to make him happy. Simple isnt it?
How nice is it to get back on the road in your disco? The only problem is turning the wipers on instead of indicators but that wont take long to readjust.
Believe me the other vehicles I've been driving feel like ****boxes. I mean the disco's only 11years old with 250,000km on it and it is a far superior vehicle to the late models I've been in....I mean less than a year old and they bounce and jump all over the roads out here. The only thing they have is heaps of airbags, massive amounts of overhead glass and very dicey brake/accelerator pedal relationships. And if for any reason you think a disco td5 is gutless, take a mine spec d4d 4wd hilux for a drive.....you can almost see the fuel guage needle moving. So....Dennis is happy......but I still have to drive the hilux................
