Well, every time I tried replying to a thread this morning the forum wouldn't recognise my submission, I kept getting

"The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 3 characters."

yet it recognised my headers ?

Anyway, I re-booted FF (7.0.1) and no go, so then the computer and still it persisted, but I noticed that No Script had updated overnight too.

Hmmm, naaa.

Checked the No Script settings and AULRO was still allowed yet, as per my original settings, all other scripts were off.

I now have 7/12 scripts running and magically I can post again.

Any ideas IT guru's ?

I'll start blocking scripts again and see what happens.
Bloody computers, Thunderbird went belly up the other day and cost me about three hours of faffing around.....

Bingo !
I have to allow googleapis.com so I can post.

Why now, what does it do and well, what's changed ?

Was all of your response added within a quote from a previous post?

That message about the post being too short happens if you try to put all your answers inside the quote to make it obvious what you are replying to.

You need a few characters outside the quoted bit.

Nope, it wouldn't accept anything inside the message box until I've allowed scripts to run from googleapis.
