SLOw run down to Western NSW

I have been toying with the idea of a trip down to western NSW....I know SLOw is not club as such yet, but would like to guage interst:)

would be driving on back roads...a 2-3 day trip down dependng on the vehicles..stay in cheap caravan parks and the eventual destination is a sheep property, Dubbo area, and the owner is a huge fan of land rovers, in fact he has a 80" bought new still on the property:D

your thoughts everyone, would you be interested in coming?

I am putting together next years calander of trips and this was one I had pencilled in for you.

I will definately be in. Especially given the number of interesting landies at the destination.

The reason I ask is that there may be a few NSW AULRO'ians who would be interested in joining the 'invasion' :D and sharing with our northern neighbours - me included.

The QLD school hols are from Fri 22/6/12 (Last day) they resume Mon 9/7/12

If I forcast my roster, I have off 25,26,27,28 June and 3,4,5,6 July

After we have our AGM then hopefully we will have dedicated trip area, but for now this is the trip plan and can be ajusted;):D

Leaving either Saturday 23rd June or Sunday 24th...depends on how long people need to pack I guess..but a Saturday would be great,

Pop can that work with you or should I make it Sunday since you have the furthest to travell...

travelling around 440klms via Texas and Yetman to Warialda:)

super cheap caravan park there, we have stayed before, with top amenities;)

then heading of for approx 340klms to our home for a few days:D,

if there is any interest we may take John, JDNSW, up on his offer to cruise over to his place for a day trip or maybe an overnighter, maybe we can do this on the way home.


Let me know everyone what you want as we are totally flexible in itinerary

Would like this to be at least a 2 week trip or there abouts as there's so much to look at and and enjoy at our hosts property and beyond:)

There is a 50% chance that we can have 100% of the Victorian membership base at the event.
When do you require confirmation?
