Even with its chev engine it still sounds like a 101.

with a Chev donk, 2WD and little wheels, he might as well use a Holden ute. At least there'd be more action.

It is still 4wd capable when required with big wheels.

Maybe this one can :) - but I wonder if the CDL will hold up.

But then it would be a stinky holden ute, not a 101:p

As my daughter would say.....SIK!
Which Chev motor is it? Any other details - I assume it is part time 4wd - or do they just drop the tailshaft for shows.

I note the LPG sticker. He is obviously concerned about running costs.:whistling:

It's a nice looking jigger.
But alas...I cannot see the point in reving the ring out of it, destroying a pair of tyres, and adding so much polution to the atmosphere.
Cheers, Mick.

Each to their own I guess but at least the owner has done the minimum of mods to achieve his sport. There are more heavily changed 101s out there.
Here are some more pics.

FC-101
I know that 101. A fellow I know, Ron (not 101 Ron), bought it from the Army auctions when AJ bought his.
I wanted to buy it from Ron in the late 90's. Couldn't afford it at the time.
Last time I sat it it was in at AMV Ringwood.

Looks like it runs straight LPG. What motor/trans is it Mick?
Are they 20" wheels?

No idea. I knew it before the mods when it was as disposed from the ADF.
I remember driving through Wombat in the Mokes with this one and AJ's tagging along. It was well over ten years ago. I wish I'd taken photo's now.
