being illiterate in these matters, how do you check the DNS server on the router?

most times you will need to login to your router to check it's settings, using a web browser.

personaly i cant see how this malware can change a router.

but you use your web browser to go to your gateway ip address the usual login will be admin and admin or admin and password

on th units status page it will usually show the dns server address in use.

thats the ip you need to be aware of.

if in doubt ring your isp technical support line and get them to talk you thru viewing the dns server address
