I'll never forget returning a faulty 20MB HDD and getting a 30MB replcament - one of the happiest days of my youth :)

making the choice between the cheaper 1.2mb 5.25 inch floppydrive with the cheaper discs or the smaller faster 1.44mb 3.5's that take the more expensive disc

bet you can, next xmas over in perth I'll be breaking out the microbee 16 and loading it up to give frankenstien, defender and math kong a workout. I'll be loading from tapes, Might even get REALLY enthusiastic and see if I can be bothered to hand type in space invaders.

So did you build it by hand? Or cheated and purchased it fully assembled.:wasntme:

Somewhere I think I still have the Technical Manual for it, including the CRO waveform pictures...

I was too young to be able to at the time it was purchased, I think dad did buy it as a kit...

I was refering to hand typing in the program for space invaders....
