Looking at the LRDirect web site, or many of the other online retailers who detail the parts manufacturers, the same part can often be made by several different companies, or at least different wholesalers (who knows where the parts are made?).
So, taking a 10 spline drive flange as an example (part no. 571235), LRDirect.com can supply:
Britpart - GBP 6.34
Bearmach - GBP 6.54
Allmakes - GBP 7.74
Land Rover - GBP 30.22
If we leave out the genuine LR part (I'm assuming it is the first choice, but at a cost), what are peoples preferences for the other brands?
