defender speedo

Hi all
I am a new member trying to find my around, but do have one question that comes to mind I purchased a defender 2002 which was purchased in the uk and imported here It has a speedometer registering Miles/hour, is there another way of tuning it to show km/hour, apart from buying a new speedometer . ie a new face ?

Welcome aboard to the forum.
Go to the markets at the top of this page and put a wanted add in.
Ask for a speedo and indicate the amount of kilometers equal to your mileage on the counter.

You may be able to find a calibrated sticker to put over the top of your current speedo.. I've seem this on VWs..

Do those defenders have digital odometers? Nice and easy if you can reset the odometer to read in km. PITA if you can't and have the needle showing km but the odometer showing miles.

Is the Defe 1994 Tdi 300 speedo the same?
If yes, then I have one spare that needs repair by a VDO instrument fitter.
