Did I see a "SLOW" avatar next to my avatar today. I was logged in via my phone being a forum junkie and I'm sure the slow oval was there.

For what's it's worth I thought it looked great.

was thinking about the avatar/symbol/badge again. Just putting it out there for the designers.

it would have to be timeless, something that withstands the riggers of age.

Yes, could be the way. I guess, I am trying to think outside the square. (oval;))
A logo should incorporate symbols that are unique. Leaf spring is the obvious but there are other uniquely "Series" symbols.

The three uprights for the "w" could be made with the 3 sticks & knobs. The remaing arms forming the "w" could be faded out slightly to emphasise the gearsticks.

A nice bar-tread for the "o".
