Klonk is a 1950 vehicle serial no16660816 , where abouts in the production year would he have been made, out of the 16000 landys that year.

Be near the end.
All my 50,s start with 06 and the early one was made in 49 as the manufacturing year started at some month near the beginning of the year. I would have to look it up but someone will know.
Actually it will be called 1951 model with the 16 number. They go by the number not the actual build date.

Hi Steve,
1666xxxx (16668000/9000) numbers near yours were delivered to buyers from Grenville Motors in NSW in February 1951. The new year for Rover was from August so yours would have likely been made in August/September for it to get to Australia and be assembled from a CKD kit.

He has a Annard and Thompson plate on the dash, would be interesting to know how he got to WA.
