Disomania

Well I finally have a possible fault with the EPB. The last couple of weeks, the brake comes on, and so does the light - all good. However, when I go to start the car a day or two later, off go the alarms and the light is flashing.

Off to the dealer today, and the first thing they have to do is to go through the adjustment process to determine if the EPB module is faulty. Fair enough.

Now.... it's going to take THREE (3) hours to take the rear wheels off, adjust the brake, reset the module with the computer, and THEN they can say whether the module has a fault.

Worst part is the cost - $300 to do the 'diagnosis'. But, LR will pay for the lot if the unit is faulty.

Ho hum. I guess it's that old adage time....

It's a landrover thing.... you wouldn't understand....:)
