Hi folks, New bub! Thanks to all those at Aulro who make this work. Great stuff ladies and gents! To business. I found a thread about leaking fuel caps... And I thought it was just mine... stupidly though, I have gone a step further - too far - and pulled apart the cap to try to replace the seal. Yes, I do have the bits that fell out :). No, I don't know where they go:eek:. Ummm! Whoops!:wasntme: Actually, I did draw myself a diagram and it's only the small plastic and the slightly larger steel bearing which I am unsure about. Does anybody know where I can find an exploded diagram of the fuel cap - '94/5 diesel deef trayback with locking cap. Any info would be most appreciated. thanks again guys and gals. Oh! and for those who were wondering, Yes, I am quoting Mutley from the whacky races. Thanks again in advance for your help with this embarassing faux pas. Justin.

It's probably better to get a new cap - $20 at supercheap ( SL111D). Or visit a wreckers and look at a Volvo.

Cheers Langy, I was imagining an horrendous amount more than that, but was not thinking after market caps.

Yeah, it's a pain. The wierd thing is, it didn't used to leak, but decided to start in the middle of a Tassie trip. We mocked up an extra seal to go behind the standard one which stopped it down to a small leak. But this didn't last much past the trip and now, unless the tank is only half filled we loose a lot of fuel.
