I had wanted to jump on here with a story of my own genius but I've hit a problem.
I grabbed an old CD Stacker for my Disco 2. I cut the cable off it and paired the ends back to work out which coloured wires were going to be for power and which were for stereo feeds etc.... Then I was going to simply solder a 3.5 jack plug onto the end and away you go!
BUT.... Now, the stereo doesn't think there's a stacker there so you can't select CD player function..... So that's stopped everything.
So I wonder if I could work out a resistor to put between some of the wires to find out if that's how it would work?
Plan B is to cut, strip and T junction the existing plug.... But that's still plan B!
Anyone know much about these Voxon stackers...
