G'day,

My vehicle's not running as it's been in bits for a year now, but just before I took it apart I noticed that there was diesel dripping out of the injector pump (2.25D). There were drops from around the shaft which attaches to the throttle linkages. It won't be (too) long before I put it all back together. Any quick ideas on this one?

Thanks,

John

IIRC, The good book says leave it to the experts and don't muck about with it.

However, you may find that a bit of judicious linkage unlinking, undoing four screws, and very, VERY carefull removal and dose of looking at may indicate a simple o-ring replacement.

There may be some errant springs which may not wish to stay in their designated locations, however the good news is that the o-rings cost less than the price of a beer......and the job may take less than ten minutes if all goes well.

As above - a fairly easy job. I have replaced all the seals on my CAV IP without too many issues.

Thanks for that. I was kind of thinking along those lines. Will proceed delicately when the time comes....
