Hi folks, I have a new D3 - D4 high current dual battery kit being prepared for D3s and D4s ( same kit ).
The new system includes my USI-160 isolator made up specifically for D3/D4 installations and a battery tray.
The set up has already been well and truly tested but I need a vehicle to fit a D3/4 specific kit to a D3 or D4 to both test the cabling lengths and to get loads of photos of the installed kit so I can put together full installation instructions for the new kits.
If somebody with a D3 or D4 is considering installing a dual battery system this is the opportunity to get one, for as much as $300 off the normal price of a kit and installation, depending on what kit you are after as the new isolator can be mated with any of the existing D4 kits.
This new kit is designed to be used with an electric winch and will join the auxiliary battery while winching or for emergency jump starting.
You do not have to fit or be considering fitting a winch to be the Guinea Pig.
If anybody is interested, I will need you and your vehicle for for a day while the installation is carried out and photos taken.
This can be a week day or weekend to suit you.
