So i am chasing a few bits for the new (second hand) camper trailer. I have a water tank that is not plumbed up yet and i have no idea on the size for the fitting i need. I have attached a photo showing the concerned area. I need to run a hose from the tank to the pump then up to the sink but i am unsure of the correct fitting to go into the exit hole of the tank. Does anyone have a clue what it could be. It is a very generic poly water tank.
I am also chasing the pin for a treg hitch coupling. I imagine this will be a bit easier to find. A bolt is doing the job at the moment but i want it to be schmicko.

A threaded hose barb. Probably 1/2" or 3/4" BSP Male thread one end, to a hose tail that will fit up the inside of the hose you'll run to the pump. Measure the width of the thread, and go into your local pump & irrigation outlet. They should be able to help.

For the pin take a trip to you local tractor place. Should be few around your area. You should be able to find a suitable pin with hole for a spilt pin.

Got yours fixed yet, Digger?

the quote to remake the tent was $8,500 so they wrote it off :(
taken away before I could even get my bits back out of it also took my hitch!

Got most back because I spoke nicely to the auctioneer! I can definately say that I reported the assessor because on about 4 levels he lied through his teeth to me...

_No dont empty your gear out (took most out anyway) we're assessing it and it'll come back no matter what before the nest step

_just borrowing the tow hitch as I forgot mine

_the gas bottle wil come back as will the new battery

etc etc.... Im getting angry just thinking about it!

It cost $14,000 all up originally but braked and with water, power and an 18" 16oz tent was really good, we'd used it hard and it soaked it up with no probs until the bloody thing turned itself into a swimming pool!

replacement (which they dont make with 16oz anymore) are $18,000 so insurance , being completely fair, paid us $8,000.

we're still looking, need minimum 18' and practical (dont need a 400 x 400' tent to go away!!.. Im happy to keep the moolah and use our swags but thats not what the minister for war and finance likes so looks like another camper...... sometime.

MMMM now Im all wound up again!!

Digger - if you are still looking take a look at second hand All Terrains or Trackabout trailers - that's if you're after a soft floor.

Cheers
