DC100 pics

Son went to the LA Car show on the weekend because they are looking to buy a new car, he knows nothing about cars except he likes what looks good. Sent me some photos of two cars that he 'really likes'
Only problem is they were looking at buying this week, cant wait till 2015.

The Evoque I like, that yellow thing I do not...:p. It looks like a Freelander that has featured in 'Pimp my Ride' or just come out of of Kahn's workshop. Just seems to be lacking any class in my opinion.

The new evoque is selling for $75g - $116g :o;)
Think I'll stick to buying a Defer :D

Its the B pillar thats wrong,,
its painted.
All LR's have floating roofs,,
only the C pillars are colored,

Im No photoshop guru but how about this, gave it a 2" lift while I was at it.
And whose idea was the powder blue, It looks OK in green !
Cant, help myself- I dont like the Alloys , How about some proper Rims & BFG MT's

Cant have a Landrover without at least one component carried over from the Series One - the Rim Centers do it for me.

Yeah I think I still prefer the current Defender but each time I edit this photo I like it more.

OK all, here are some photo's from the Dubai motor show.

I tried to show more the underneath of the DC100 & not just the usual photos, it was on a display that was elevated & spinning around so impossible to photograph the interior.

It was also a full working vehicle as there were electronic display photos of it driving in the desert. Note the Bilstein shocks

Sadly there was almost 10 times the interest in the Evoque compared to the DC100 & even less interest in the D4.

Whilst we are at it, here are a couple of pic's of the LC200 Extreme, you can buy it from the factory with an Icelandic kit of 35x12 Procomp tyres, lift & flares. If I was after a cruiser this would be my pick & it only costs around 70k new.

This beast is the bargin buy, they have been for sale here for about 2 years, & are a well spec'd F150 complete with 315/70/17 BFG ATs, 6.2lt 411hp engine, approx 3-4inch lift, Fox shocks all round, nice under body bash plates & protection & rear diff lock.

You get all of this for around 55-60K AUD.

For this sort of money it is a great buy, I am tempted to get one for my daily drive. :D Sadly I could run this beast for less than what it costs me to run my TD5 110 as diesel here is about twice the price of petrol. :twisted:
