Disable car alarm

Is there a way to disable the car alarm?

I think my bonnet switch is broken so I want to disable the alarm.

Dave,

Have you tried disconnecting the bonnet switch and leaving it either open or short circuited?

All good now.. just some gunk in the bonnet latch that was stopping the switch from closing properly.
