I wonder if that applies to the freeby readers like Foxit and Nitro ?

Hopefully not, as I dropped Acrobat Reader years ago as it's such a bloated resource hog.

Slightly off-topic, but I just did a quick comparison of memory usage between AcrobatReader9, and Foxit.
Opened a 3 page PDF in both apps (only running 1 at a time), AR9 showed as using around 12Mb memory, Foxit was 15Mb.

Interesting.

I use Nitro and I found the base program a lot smaller than Adobe's offering.
