emails wont send

just changed over to big pond adsl broadband...now I cant send emails...I receive them ok.....using vista and chrome....windows live mail with Iprimus being mail server.....any ideas?.....I had a similar thing when I changed over previously to big pond mobile broadband and was able to rectify it myself, but I'm buggered if I can now

Just a thought but double / tripple check all your settings. May be no help at all but its some where to start . Again

Should you be using the bigpond mail server as the outgoing server perhaps??

username - mail.bigpond.com

Telstra/Bigpond shut down all emails for around 24 hours due to an internal security issue. My email is back on line now.

These are the settings:

ncoming (POP3) mail server: mail.bigpond.com

Outgoing (SMTP) mail server: mail.bigpond.com

Username: Your full BigPond email address (e.g. username@bigpond.net.au or username@bigpond.com)

Password: Your email password
