Going on a cruise in Jan., Christchurch was a stopover, but Akeroa is now our port of call. Difficult to understand how one city can be so damaged, and another so close not. So sad to see the damage, hope the people are recovering, Bob

Thanks for that. I have seen the pics from the Aussie crew (one is a friend) and he has the no holds barred rescue pics, which give a very different perspective. Not suitable to post here. Only got to see them as in the industry,
