I,m going down to Perth in Jan for the birth of my son. Whilst there it is my intension to have the fuel capacity of my 110 Puma increased. What are your ideas regarding. The only real reservation I have for the rear gavity tanks it could restrict future wheel tyre selection. Feed back regarding quality and bang for your buck etc. Currently I can get down, evan pulling a trailer to Canarveon. However thats about it and being only one 24 hour servo it can be a bit of a risk. I would atleast be able to reach Geraldton with a safe margin. :D

The Mulgo Tanks look good
Dual Fuel Tank System - Mulgo Pty Ltd - Australia (http://www.mulgo.com.au/p11_Mulgo-Dual-Fuel-Tank-System.html)
Last time I was up your way I found a you beut Railway cut off disc alongside the Karratha - Pannawonica rail access road. Must have bounced out the back of a ute, Im still using it 12 mths later, would have gone thru 6 shop bought cut off wheels by now !!

I think time will be your biggest hurdle so get cracking.
Mulgo sill tanks are good, well I'm banking on it, but there is along wait. Ordered mine in Oct and expecting them very soon. $ per litre that are the only way I believe. I keep the original tank and gain 140lt for a 130. 100lt for a 110. After looking at a Perenti and what it has under the sills, I don't believe the Mulgo sill tanks will rob me of ground clearance very often.
Both ARB"s LongRanger, and LRA's Long Range Automotive tanks are similar. I think ARB's is 127lt, and LRA is 131lt. Both are replacement rear tanks but LRA's allows you to keep the original sway bar. With ARB you extend the sway bar mounts to keep the original, otherwise it goes. Both only give you and extra 2.5 jerry cans for somewhere between $1250 and $1800 fitted depending on you local supplier. But that may be all you require as well.
Brown Davis also do a tank, I have not found a great deal of positive feedback on them, and I personally found the service very average.
Above are the main stream suppliers. But there are also plastic tanks that fit on the floor, behind the rear seats of a 110. I think Opposite Lock, Dolium or Front Runner supply them. There is also a 175lt steel tank that fits a 130HCPU in there somewhere, and a 45lt but hellishly expansive rear quarter tank for a110.
good luck, have a great time

PAT303 that seems to be they way to go. I take it you will be getting two sill tanks to balance things up. I am leaning now to this solution from one of the venders, I suspect that there will be little between the in price.[happycry]

You can also try Paul at Long Range Automotive.
They do a large replacement tank and also chassis mounted tanks.
Tank workmanship / welding etc is excellent.
I run 255x85R16's on 4N offset rims, no rubbing anywhere on the tank with there 140L replacement unit.

Yorkshire jon I think the 140 litre is for the TD5, 125 litre for the Puma unfortunately. Would I be correct in thinking that they are sold by ARB ?
If the 140 fits the Puma, it for would probably do the job, however it does seem to be a 125. I have read some comments regarding the tank that fits in the rear D/S wheel arch having issues fouling during articulation. :)

Should have made it clear that I have not got the time to order and fit myself. :D

Mulgo's tanks won't fit my puma because of the side steps, thats why I'm getting them made. Pat

PAT303 I have ARB side steps, don't really want to loose them. Some thing else to consider.:BigThumb:

I think the 125L tank is made by LongRanger, they are different to Long Range Automotive.
As far as I know the 140L LRA tank will fit the puma as well, but I maybe wrong. With the 140L you do need to remove the RHS rear sway bar mount from the chassis. That wasn't a problem for mine because it was never fitted with a sway bar!
The other thing to consider with replacement tanks is your rear recovery points. Some tanks don't allow certain towbars to be fitted and I'd be surprised if any allow for jate rings.
