Need help to find a winch bar thread

About a year ago (IIRC), someone wrote up a great thread with lots of photos on modifying a non-winch bullbar to take a winch.

I've searched lots, looked at MANY threads, but stuffed if i can find it :(

From memory, it was someone in QLD, with a nice workshop with plasma cutter etc. Think it was a 110 bull bar but not 100% sure - may have been disco/RRC.

Does anyone recognise the thread I'm referring to?

I remember the pics, but alas I can't fine it either. I recall that some plates were cut and welded onto a non winch bar somewhat similar to how a winchbar is actually constructed.

halfway down the post is how I made my arb non winch bar into a decent (tried and tested !) winch bar. Of course, since the post I've changed to a all in one solenoid mounted in the engine bay and then sold the bullbar and now use a RRC winchbar. But the mod was a sucess and if you have a similar winch it can be a bolt in job with only two welds you can do off the vehicle.
