Hiya all, have aquired a 91 discovery 1 V8 with arb lockers front & rear and i think (hope) Maxi axels, intending to build a comp truck, but i would like to know what others would regard as a strong suspension build for it? I will be running 35"s and am thinking coil overs, what if any are the main weak points to disco's, steering i know is a bad one & i noticed the rear tail shaft on mine has been converted i think from a rangie as it does not have a rubber coupling, any advice would be greatlly apreceated. Cheers

Here is the one that I'm currently building. It has stalled big time in the last 6-8mths, but hopefully in the new year it will start moving along again.

Lookin good Siska, Mines a 5 door but is going to be cut down to a 2 door, as u may have guessed it's not going on the road. New 4by park up here in fnq, hopefully it will be here for a while. Works a bit quite up here so this project could stall for a fair bit, but research is the key. could u tell me how ur coil over go, spring rate & height gain...my rig is going to be thrashed heaps, rego runs out on boxin day so it's goin where eva i can...many thanks.

I'd be checking to make sure you dont have 10 spline axles, you at LEAST qant the Land rover 24 spline but if you're serious about comp trucking it then modified to take Landcruiser centers is what you should chase
