Anyone got any interesting apps for overlanding or general vehicle maintenance?

I created a short list (iPhone Apps for overlanding (http://overland-live.blogspot.com/2011/12/smartphone-apps-for-overlanding.html)) which include:

Road Trip - great app for fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
Below is the fuel consumption of my Series 88" which I had to sell before moving to Sydney (and which I regret terribly)

The other app I linked to is tapatalk - neat app for connecting to the forum and other forums.

Any other suggestions?

Motion x gps: free from memory and you record tracks, email them to yourself, open up the kmz file in google earth and you get a 3d image of your journey as the app records altitude as well: quite cool

Motion X GPS is good as it also shows elevation. It can be very interesting to see just how steep and long that climb/decent was.

It's on iPhone and Androind.

I also use it for my bike and skiing.

No turn by turn road directions that I can find, but hopefully I stand to be corrected

There is a turn by turn version called "MotionX GPS Drive" but it appears the mapping only covers the US. The app isn't currently available on the Australian iTunes store.

My lovely girlfriend bought me this for use on the iPad instead of carrying a hundred maps around.

VMS - Serious 4x4 Navigation - products (http://www.vms4x4.com/product-iphone-vms_app)
VMS 4x4 - maps (http://vms4x4.mud-maps.com/)

Looks pretty awesome, but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Been away once since we got it, but forgot the iPad. :( Hopefully at Easter we'll give it a run and report back...

Whilst not specifically for overlanding, this app is almost essential if you use Bluetooth in the car.

Generally, turning Bluetooth on and off is a pain but the app Bluetooth OnOff makes it easy to do from the home screen. 'Tis exxy though — $1.15 (or 99c in the USA). :D
