Just reporting on my first service. It was done in Alto Landrover, 2A Chandors Street, St Leonards.

Lots of checks, replaced engine oil and filter:

Oil Filter - $28.53
Sump Plug Washer - $6.45
Oil Castrol 5W/30 Synthetic - $135
Parts Environmental Levy - $8
Workshop Consumables - $24
Environmental Waste Levy - $22
GST - $46.39

Total - $510.35 (the labour part was stated as $240).

The car was washed, but I am not happy - I found a few small scratches here and there. I suspect it's the result of the machine wash.

To me $510 for oil change seems steep - is this normal? Can you recomend different (cheaper/better) place for service. Thank you.

Hi Vesko!

I have a D3 and Graeme Cooper at St Peters service it. I take it there from Terrigal as they do a proper job. Was not happy with dealer service, all they are interested in is mark up and not product knowledge.
You will still be covered by warranty using these guys.

I drive down from Canberra - fortunately, I have a daughter I like to see in Sydney! - to get my Freelander2 TD4 serviced by Graeme Cooper PL. First service was $496.40. I did not purchase my vehicle from the Canberra dealer (in fact, combined trip to WA with acquisition) and was advised by LR owners here that better work was done by Coopers.

Hahaha LR Dealer the *insert your favorite expletive* charged me $70 for wiper blades. EACH!
Never ever going to take either our Rangie or fl2 to them again. Graeme cooper all the way!
