Hi gents, some of you may be aware that we shipped a new Puma to South America late in 2010, since then we have had some great adventures, not least of which was a reunion with the Patagonian Land Rover Club. So it is with considerable regret that I tell you that on Christmas day I rolled the Defender in Mexico and wrote it off. Sadly there aren´t too many here and the wealth of spare parts that are available and I would gladly give away to any Land Rover owner are to be lost, not to mention, winch extra tanks, roof top tent and many other things a well set up Defender deserves. So before I lose myself in angst I´ll cut to the chase, is anyone aware of a Tdi Defender for sale in WA, preferably and from a good home.

Please advise

Bugger, Carlos. All OK?
IF time is available, is it an option to remove the good bits and ship them home?
If short on time, is it an option to pay someone to do the same?
REgards, Dave.

Not worth the cost and hassle, the paper work and AQIS (Quarantine people)
Would kill it

Hi Carlos

At least it sounds like you are ok?

Just a thought, even though the Puma is badly damaged, there maybe someone in the States that would flatbed it across the boarder, who would love to get their hands on some late model parts.

Are you able to post any pictures where you are?

G'Day Carlos.
Rainer, an AULRO member is in Mexico, perhaps he can put you in contact with some local enthusiasts.
Hope this helps.
Dave.

Every thing is hard here, and they don't sell Pumas in the states, so no. The people who carted it away received it in lieu of payment.

That is a sad news but as long as you are Ok the rest can be replaced.
The trip in Argentina for sure was awesome. I would like to go back there to see the region again :)
