GME TX 3100 Microphone

Anybody else having problems with the Mike on these sets?
I've had 3 microphones now and all of them are prone to stick on transmit, which causes no end of grief when leading convoys.
GME want the whole set back to test it but at the moment I can't take it out as sick or not I still need it. I might just buy a Mic of an older set,they seem to be more robust.

I've not had any issues with mine either. Had it for just over 12 months.

My mic works ok, however Iam a little dissapointed with the range when I am in convoy, the other members seem to have considerable more range than my3 to 5 km. I have tried different aerials and it is mounted high. Some uniden uhf radios are advertising average 18km. Have any of you blokes any idea what range you get from your tx3100. have a happy new year regards Johno
