I have just read two different threads where people are getting on their high horse regarding differing points of view. Really getting the poo poos with each other.

People are different that's what makes up the world. People are entitled to say what they like but it doesn't mean you have to then ram your opinion down their throat or worse just post inflamatory statements while you are hiding behind the keyboard.

I am certain if it were face to face discussion it could be a good discussion and maybe both sides would learn something.

Here am I telling all of you what to do as well....

guess its just our passionate nature that makes otherwise polite people cross the line to personal attacks but I must say the mods are pretty well on the ball even if it probably gives then a large dose of the doo doo's for having to step in.

I try not to get involved with the sort of people who are offensive on the Internet. I agree they wouldn't (normally) say the same thing to you face to face!!

I find it interesting (and a bit sad) to have a quick look through the previous posts of someone who has made the first "you're a pencil dick and dont know crap" post in one of these type of threads.

Often it appears they have a general issue with negativity and agression, or perhaps just dont know how to express themselves well.

I try and make a point of not saying anything on the forum I would not say in person only takes a little bit of thought. Unfortnatly with all electronic communications people often dont get the real emotion or joke that is being put forward smily faces often go unnoticed:(

I just read one of those, two posts by the same assclown who would get a shot in the mouth if it was me they were speaking to face to face. No actual advice to resolve the OP's issue, just abuse because according to "God" they don't have a clue.

I haven't posted for a while and currently not having any ding dongs with anyone so can't be me on any threads ( link would be good :D)....for a change ;). As some have noted I also am pretty much the same in "real life" as I am on here.

I have had my fair share of judgements and dispersions made against me......MODS included ( you know who you are) :p.....who think they know ol Stevo without ever having met me. Mind you some of the comments made to me online...or some of those dispersions.....would be interested to see if would be made to my face. Kudo's if they did......before it was on :twisted:.

Because seriously some of the internet warriors...current and in the past..if they said same to my face as they put it across here on the net.....I'd seriously belt them one. People seem to forget that before they type and hit send. Would they say the same if face to face??

Having said that...and for those that remember...Dobbo and I could have come to blows had we ever met. I thought he was the biggest bell end this end of town....and vis a vis.....but we are now mates...go figure.

Overall though..considering the amount of people on here, different backgrounds etc.....it's a place where most get on and show respect. There's always going to be moments....****...thats life.......I have moments with my missus/ kids etc.......doesn't mean I'd swap them. I love this place...got good friends.....yes their are bell ends but they don't tend to last.......and overall we should be proud of our online community,

Everyone has likes and dislikes, but when someone tells me I can not enjoy a legitimate passtime or gets personal, then it is on.;)
But yes everyone should lighten up a bit. Life is too short.

sometimes, when I'm bored, ****ed off or just feel like going on a recruitment drive for minions willing to worship my utter evilnessI will go find a flame war and bait both sides, or one side then PM some other stuff to the other side.
