Gold Coast to Armidale

Hi All. Went to Armidale last weekend and tried a trip I had not done before. Normally I would go Grafton, Glenn Innes, Armidale. This time I was told to try Grafton, Ebor, Armidale. The first 50 km or so past Grafton is a great drive (except for road conditions). You travel through some great forests and cross pretty rivers and creeks, really worth a look. If you are on the clock it is also about 45 to 50 minutes faster even though it is twisty with tight corners in the pretty part of the trip.

I have relos in Tamworth and that’s the way I go when going over there.

It’s a very interesting drive at night because of all the wild life which makes for a slow trip ducking roos and wallabies.
