Hi guys,
The water pump on the Rover 6 has a stupid? bypass setup where a rubber O-Ring is compressed between a screw-down fitting from the head (underneath the thermostat) and the top of the water pump... I've replaced the O-ring and that's sealing no probs but I can't stop it leaking from the thread on the screw-down fitting  Does anyone have any tips or tricks? I'm thinking heaps of teflon tape? or some gasket putty on the threads?
Any help would be really appreciated!
Cheers, Jimmy
