Just a short note to all those that knew Danny.

Just before midnight last night Danny suffered a massive Heart Attack and passed away. He was my brother and he was my mate. He is survived by his 6 Children and his estranged wife. I miss him.

RIP mate, Steve.

I'm stunned Steve. I only met Danny a few times, but found him to be a genuine nice bloke who was always willing to help out. His white County was the first Isuzu turbo I had a drive of.

So sad to hear that he's gone. My condolences to you and his family.

I met Danny at his place and on a few AULRO events, he was a top bloke, I was shocked to read this thread, very sad news.

Our thoughts are with you and family.

Dan came to a couple of AULRO/ LROCV days up in Melb.

His happy smiling face was always a pleasure to see.

He should be in good company , swapping Landy stories with another thorough gentleman , a long standing member of the LROCV , who has also recently passed away.

On behalf of Danny's family, I would just like to thank everyone who posted there thoughts here. It was very much appreciated. I know Danny would have been quite 'chuffed' to learn of the high esteam that his fellow Land rover enthusiasts held him in. I would espesially like thank SteveG for coming along to the Funeral in his County, a nice touch, Thankyou
