My Series 2 109" came with a mixture of aftermarket lights.
What style lights would have been used in 1960 ?

Indicators were aftermarket, and would have been supplied by the dealer (or owner). Could be anything.
Can't help with the others as I do not have a Series 2 parts book. Note that the type of lights changed after suffix (1960 should be without a suffix) and also that the type of light fitted in Australia was often not the same as that listed by Rover for the date, as these were usually part of local content.

My 1960 (back in 1972) had the same Lucas stop tail as the Military SII/SIIa and the rear blinker was the same as on the front of the Mil vehicles have on the front.
The domed Lucas glass lens with the two screws. The fronts should be the same.
You can just see them on Dinty's behind the brushguard.

So how come Dinty's got a Hotel tac sign?

Some of us didn't aspire to these things Registration at last (http://www.greenacre.biz/landrover/975_rego/975_rego.htm).
