I saw this on the Manheim website:

It looks fine, but check out the ks - 362,061 !

Dealers aren't going to want this, someone will either get a bargain or a nightmare.

Could be a good buy for someone.
However seeing as it's manheim it would probably have 50 people bidding on it and sell for 45k ;)

If the engine in one of these was to die, how intergrated is the engine management with all the other systems like the Terrain response etc. Has anyone ever put in another engine running its on ECU before.

Just curious as if my motor blows or i bought one with a blown motor wouldnt mind dropping a Coyote in one

Bells Auto Services in the UK have fitted a TDV6 into a Defender, so it can be done. The one advertised will not have Terrain Response as it's the S model with springs. Terrain response is only available with Air Suspension.

Well at the very least there is the answer to the question ...'will a TDV6 do 250,000 k's?' ...;)

The one advertised will not have Terrain Response as it's the S model with springs. Terrain response is only available with Air Suspension.
Air suspension might have been optioned but it looks as though there's no TR knob, only the high/low range switch.

This is a link which has been highlighted a few times already on here...

My 08 D3 TDV6 SE has done 230,000kms and it still drives like it's brand new!!! :) Noone believes the reading after I take them for a spin! I like to think that mine has just been worn in!
