There has, it seems, been a bit of negativity in the air of late, so I thought it well overdue that I post this message to redress the balance of the world.

I’ve moved out of home and had a heap of furniture and stuff to move to my rental accommodation.

I put the word out, asking for some volunteers to give me a hand.

I was flooded with one answer.

blitz (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/members/blitz.html) came all the way from Jimboomba to spend the afternoon (and early evening) helping me with numerous trips back and forth from Redcliffe to Boondall, and loading and unloading stuff…

A BIG thank you mate !

He nearly sacrificed his very life in the cause too. Seems his good lady wife locked herself out of the house and by the time he’d finished helping me and checked his mobile there were several* SMS’s asking him to get his arse home pronto. (or words to that effect). Sorry Mrs Blitz.

*several dozen?

As an aside – why don’t you appear in this list?

An example you could follow instead of sitting down there on the peninsula with no power because its a hot day and MIGHT catch fire.

South Australians just haven't got the hang of that new fangled electrcity yet.
