I'm wiring up a factory auxiliary driving light switch for my lights on the bullbar.

Pretty sure the only easy way is to remove the dash moulding.
There are two screws near the steering column and to access these it's also easier to remove the plastic moulding from the column.
Once you have removed those place your two hands on the dash moulding with your thumbs positioned similar to riding a bike and slowly pull the moulding towards yourself at the angle it currently is at. There a couple of clips it locks into on the windscreen side of the dash.

Unless they are broken like mine and the whole casing around the instrument cluster justs lifts up! Id say someone tried to do it without knowing or asking how it is supposed to be done.....crack, snap.... it comes off now:mad:

I've had mine off. Undo the 2 screws and lift it whilst pushing it backwards (towards the front of the car). The clips go BANG when they let go, but they don't break:). Putting it back on is just a reverse of the above, a bit a whack with your hand will seat them again, just make sure they are lined up properly.

Its the 2 screws that are tricky, the piece of plastic that they screw into is VERY EASY to snap off and once it happens there is no anchor left to secure the cluster panel.
Good luck
