Hi all,
Sorry if this has been covered, but I did a search and couldn't come up with anything.
I'm after a pair of front driver/passenger rubber floor mats for my 90, but I want them to be deep so they will catch dirt, mud etc.
I have used these: Road Gear - The Toughest 4x4 Rubber (http://www.roadgear.com.au/outbackDeep.html) in my previous vehicle and they were great - so I bought a set for the Defender but they are way too long!
Last resort will be to see if I can cut them to size or something, but I thought I'd ask here first - what does everybody else use??

I also have OEM ones and am very happy with them. Probably cheaper to buy them from England and pay the postage than to buy them from a dealer here.

Agree 100% I've always had OEM mats in my 90's, even the ones you'll get from the UK will exact copies of the OEM because they rate as one of those designs that just can't be improved.

Hey Reindeer,
I forgot to tell you, i also got the OME rear rubber matt as well. The dealer had to order them for me from UK.
if you want to see what they look like go to landrover.co.uk
to defender and then accessories and then interior

I have the land rover rear mat for the 90 in my 90
Covers the whole back of the car, base and two wheel arches and has a large Land Rover logo in the middle of the floor

I've had those rear mats in the past as well (pre- '99 though). Tough as nails and remarkably seem to stay in place for most of the time.
I've been trying to find out what the Puma's one, used in the 90 Hardtop (commercial) looks like and whether it's compatible with the County spec upwards (which is similar to Australian spec) after the rear seats have been removed. The hardtops have "clean" rear tubs without the hundreds of extra bolts for seats, seatbelts, lugage tie down cleats and the rest which makes installing the mat a lot easier.

Ended up buying from the local fellas as was only $8 difference between them and getting from the UK. Plus only took one day to get them not weeks:D
Like the sound of the rear mat - might just be the next pressie for the tug:thumbsup:
Thanks for everyones help
