A wonderful event to see - if on this occasion there was a matching Aurora Australis it may have been visible from southern TAS but will be likely be more visible if an event occurs after the equinox as the sheilding tilt of the planet's axis changes...... I'm in Augusta (southern WA) at the moment and there has been no visible aurora - there is probably nowhere south enough here in WA to have seen it.

It has been many years since there has been any solar activity sufficient to trigger an event such as this

Via dog sled I'll be at the top of Norway in four weeks! Can't wait or the show.

Without my glasses I read this as aureolae. I clicked in expecting a tittie show. Inc, please do better in future.
