Baz, I presume that it is LPG powered, my question is does it have an external flue, I was looking at a similar product and while it was running there was a decent bit of heat from the flue. The one I was looking at was meant to be hung up outdoors, how does your one get around this, Regards Frank.

The flue is at the top and can be extended to go outside, but where it is, it has enough open space not to be a concern, the area is well ventilated even though it's inside.

Yep that's the one, they really do work well and they keep a constant temp.

Baz, how big is your water pump? Reason I ask – our boat has an instant heater rated a lot higher than this and it really struggles with the low flow from the pressure pump. Your new heater looks more suitable.

Hi Harlie our pump is relitively new as well, it's rated at 11l per minute flow, when I spoke to the guy about the heater he recommended that the pump be rate higher than the heater, this way you can adjust the flow without losing heat.

Our old heater was more suited to mains pressure.

Just an observation: have you got grommets around the wires where they penetrate the steel walls?

Yes, all those wires have and silastic too, you do realise I have replaced one heater for another, with the previous heater being installed 5 yrs ago, it gets checked on a regular basis as the wires you speak of are for charging the camper battery and running power to the kitchen and water pump.
