Wifey was working in the back yard today, when she found some eggs. We don't know what they are from. Does anyone know?

Was going to say Finch, but there seems to be too many eggs in the nest for a bird.
Lizard, maybe?

If they were a bit rubbery to touch then almost certainly lizard eggs.

The eggs are leathery. I thought they would be too big for a skink, the skinks we get are very small, are snake eggs leathery too? The only bigger lizard we have seen around here are Geckos.

I was going to suggest gecko, but it looks like it's in the garden, not a "traditional" gecko spot?
Electrician mate of mine found a similarly sized/shaped/coloured egg a few weeks ago in one of my house's light fittings, told me it was from a gecko.
Either way the answer would be interesting.

I would think skink. Open one and you will get your answer!

I get similar eggs under the mulch in my veggie patch - the ones I regularly get are water dragon eggs. I actually dug up a group of about 8 baby water dragons one day - there were a few unhatched eggs among them.

Lizard eggs, put them under a rock an they will hatch when ready, keep the snails and bugs under control, Regards Frank.
