Hi Guys,
On my l322 vogue 02 model I have a spare set of 19" vogue rims.
I planning to do more off road work and touring in the high country etc etc. I don't mind changing the tyres over for the weekend to go bush as I have a car hoist in my gargage.
Can anyone suggest what tyres to use? I had a look at goodyear mt/r kevlar but you can't get them in oz.
What your thoughts?
Or maybe I should buy some 18" hse rims!

Regards Paul

This guy actually swapped to 19s from 18s to use Goodyear MTR:

I would get a set of 18" rims, you should be able to find something to suit those - I am looking at this myself at the moment. I am only looking for a set af A/T's for mine, but I need a set of 18" rims first as well - the 20's weren't the best up the bush last week, but they did get me there and back...:)

I have a set of Goodyear 19" MTRs for sale in the markets section (Adelaide) from my 2003 L322. I think they are the Kevlar model. They are great off road, but it now only gets used on bitumen, so I have gone back to a road oriented tread which is quieter.

I've gone for a second set of 18" rims because it will give you a little bit more side wall. Altho the R.R. G4's used the 19" Goodyear MTR but they are fairly agressive tyre

That's what swayed me to get the MTRs - they were in all the pictures of the G4 Range Rovers, so they seemed to be the "official" factory suggestion.

Think your right spudboy. But IIRC MTR's in short surply & Goodyear only do a small production run once or twice a year ??
Plus lots more to choose from in 18"

My HSE has 18's and the range of choice is ok but not huge.
I went for Coopers H/T 90% road 10% off and it suits my travels well. Great road tyre and suits me for beach and gravel trails.
The Pirelli's I had before got great mileage but started to suffer damage from rocky gravel roads as they aged.
