Right so I've finally managed to register my dect phone and fritz box model/router.
So i have a phone number 08 xxxx xxxx it says it uses (for outgoing calls) but I have no idea:

1. How anyone would call me? I tried to dial the number on my mobile and got a Telstra number does not exist message....

2. How I call anyone? Tried just dialing out TO my mobile from the regsitered DECT phone but get a busy ringtone.

Provider is internode.

Anyone?

So Internode are your ISP and VOIP provider Vlad?

I presume you've configured the VOIP part of the router, with SIP details etc etc?

Yep. Sounds like he hasn't configured his voip box yet.

Hope your Voip is better than ours with Skymesh!!! Never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait to be back with Telstra!

have used internode voip before and it works well
internodes help desk are very helpful and patient so give them a call or use the setup guides on their website.
They should have one for fritz!box

Ask nicely Vlad and I'll come over and set it up this weekend. I don't have anything planned for this weekend except possibly moving some furniture around (thinking of re-arranging the lounge room).

I use VoIP at home and have set it up for my inlaws and a couple of friends as well.

I have Voip with Gotalk, now Club telco for the last 5 years and is excellent and I save in the 5 years more than $250 per month in STD and overseas calls.
It is important to have good gear, I have Netcomm modem/reuter.
