I have a prodigy 3 fitted; I have fitted controllers to previous LR's myself but I had a caravan place fit it to the FL2 because I had heard of issues around fitting them. They had no problems fitting it and everything works as it should.

I would say you have separate issue with the fuel gauge, there is a software patch for some vehicles or it could just be a sender issue.

Gidday again
Thank you for yor replies . I have since sorted the problem, the controler was wiring was causing the problem with the fuel gauge ,after I removed the whole instilation I took the vechicle to the dealers to check the fuel gauge, and as I suspected they could not find any problems. I then spoke to an auto sparky and found out the problem was caused by using the towbar electrics to pick up the brake light signal the reason I used this method was that is how the wiring diagram showed it also it was the easiest as I could not find the brake switch (took the auto sparky 1-1/2 hrs to find it) it is next to the throttle pedal . All works fine now

I know this is an old thread... but the topic is relevant to my dilema.
I had a Redarc Towpro fitted to my MY13 FL2 and the LR dealer put the tiny control switch in the lefthand side of the stearing wheel housing, below the blinker stalk. Now this is out of the way but there now way to see what number it's set to and I'm constantly fiddling to get the right amount of breaking on the caravan.
Has anyone got a similar controller and where did you you put the switch?
Thanks

We have the same system on our's, but the sparky fitted the little knob also on the left but on the bottom panel bellow the key fob socket, and the controller under the panel behind the battery. If SWBO didn't have such a gigantic key fob it would be easy to see.
