Just wanted to hop on & brag that I got my D2a pictured in this months Land Rover Owner International!

Its a pic from our trip to Expedition NP last year :) Nothing special really, but i wanted to share :)

M R Automotive got some free advertising, not that you can make out the words.

Some git keeps pinching my LRO mag, the subscription copy hasn't arrived for the last 2 months. :mad: I guess our postie reads 4WD Action mag and has realised he needs a proper magazine instead :D

They printed an article about a trip I did in my old Series 3 - seems like a hundred years ago but I think it was in the June 1998 issue. They gave the article the unfortunate title of "Beating the Bush" :o

Yeah, its good to see Aussie stories pop up every now & then.

Last year they ran an article about some series Is driving the Gun barrel Hwy.
It surprises me how often people import series Landrovers from Oz back to the UK as they're often mentioned in the mag.

Congratulations on your photo - always good to see your stuff in something as widely circulated as LROI.

A few years ago I had about a dozen photos printed in various issues of Land Rover World's now defunct "Spotted" column and won best photo a couple of times. The beanie etc prize never came but that was not the point. Likewise it doesn't take a lot of skill to get a good photo, just get something interesting in it.

I'd encourage more people to give it a go - just takes a digital photo attached to an email and you're in there.

Never won anything from LRO
But had a 7 page article done about me and my brother. Was done about 15 years ago, in fact only last year the mag it is in was in the back in the 15 years ago article.
