thinking of upgrading

im thinking about buying a 2006 td5 110 then selling my 98 300tdi 110 dual cab, been searching on here to see if this would be a wise move but would like some thoughts from others. I read that you can swap most parts from the older 300 tdi models onto the earlier td5's but would it still swap over to a 06 model (obviously all engiene related parts cant be swaped[tonguewink])

The only difference between early and new td5's was the rear axle and a revision to the engine and ecu.

Engine went EU3-EU4 and ecu went non-flash able to flashable (late 2001/2 models were flashable).

Rear axle went from Salisbury to P38/Rover/Wolff axle (all same axle, people call it different names).
