hi every one did service today on the old tdv6 as per the norm dropped oil filter, air filter had a bit of a look around now that it has clocked on 142,000 km with very little fuss so much for the tech night mare when it hits 100,000 km ? but looked at the top intercooler piping and theres a 2 inch split in it now ive had and still own 2 other turbo cars that one of them is running 1.6 bar but never seen this sh.t wtf hoping some body knows of silicone pipe work , im starting to think all off pipe work is made in italy (every thing rubber will crack no matter what) sorry had to many fiats & alfas hope someone can help out once again cheers alan buy the way that nulon 5w 30 oil is incredible so much quieter cheers alan

Hi Alan,
This is not uncommon. I had mine replaced about 12 months ago for the same reason. I'll be looking for a silicon replacement next time too. You'll probably be blowing a bit of black smoke out the exhaust as well.

Silicon hoses are available all over the UK Landrover online parts suppliers - they should be available closer to home as well. Here's one:-

Silicone one is much cheaper than OEM.
Got mine from britparts. Good price very effiucient picked up Thursday arvo delivered Sunday.
