Hi everybody, Ihave Disco 3 2.7d with99000ks lately warning lights forBrake,Suspension & Dsc have lit up after driving 300ks. After stopping and turning off motor and restarting everything is ok, but after another100 or200ks the same lights reappear. The brake pads and front discs are new along with sensors. Does anyone have any ideas as Adelaide Land Rover cant solve the problem:eek:

Check that the wiring behind the left front wheel hasn't pulled away from its mounting against the chassis and rubbed on the inside of the tyre. The insulation can wear through and intermitently cause wheel sensor or height sensor faults. Fault codes should be stored though so the dealer should be able to find the cause.

Just had the same/similar problem on my D3. Transmission fault then DSC fault the suspension lowering. Started with just a transmission fault and the rest gradually got added. Also started quite randomly then got more frequent. Changed the brake light switch for a new one and haven't had the problem since. My D3 has 130K on the clock. Brake switch was $35 off ebay including delivery (genuine part). Bit more expensive than the UK but I wanted to get the problem sorted quickly.

Gents, I have just had the warning lights (no suspension lowering) randomly commence and then go away. When I restarted the park brake switch warning light reappeared along with the engine light that remained illuminated.

After resting the vehicle overnight all lights disappeared and now a few days later have returned. What is going on here?

ABS sensor, faulty sensors or something more sinister? Any help very much appreciated.

D3 with 125K kms and the EPB replaced last December. Thanks for your help and ideas.

Check your light bulbs in the rear cluster - it's been known to cause all sorts of problems - I know it sounds silly but it's TRUE ... change your "normal" bulbs over to LED's and change your brake light "switch" assembly (just above the brake pedal) and you should see a change.
There's a thread about LED bulbs up near the top - check it out.
Good luck :)
