just spent 7300 on my engine rebuild and have had it back for less than fourty eight hours , cab on the 130 filled with smoke , oil pressure is building up to the point its puching out of the head , five diesel mechanics have nfi , yes not happy and its back there

someone forgot to put the rings in.
someone forgot to set the oil pressure regulator ball and spring
someone forgot to clean the oil return gallaries.
someone put way too much oil in the engine
someone else probably needs better mechanics.

thanks blknight, ill let them know . sad thing is two people recomended them to me

they were just outthere guesses, if it turns out to be any of those I'd be getting very very angry, and demanding a full refund if its not fixed in 48 hours Ditto.


it might also be just a dodgy rocker cover gasket and the engines not filling its just leaking out onto the exhaust.
