That is bad. Hope it is found soon.

BTW - I thought you had to have the 4 digit code to unlock a WRX every time you started it even if you had the key (mine did...). Did they flat-bed it away?

Same thing happened to my niece a while back.
She lives in a suburb of Perth and the "Thieves" snuck into the house whilst she was hanging washing on the line, got the keys to her partners SS ute and then roared off in it! Mongrels!

Cheers, Mick.

I had a "similar" car stolen when I was living in Sydney (Porsche 911).

Police said they'd either have it back to me in 2 days, because it was going to be used as a getaway car, or I'd never see it again because it was stolen for parts. I never saw it again.....

Hope you get a better outcome.

I understand that this is the favourite car for thieves - makes a good getaway car. Usually burnt to erase fingerprints.

That's lucky. Did the police catch anyone - or did they find it dumped?

My mate came across a car parked beside his WRX and some little punk trying to open the door with a screwdriver. Started running to his car, came within a few meters but they saw him and took off.
Rang the cops and they told him, "if you catch them yourself, dont even bother calling us, just teach them a lesson with your fists, its the only way they will stop doing it":D
